Eddie Winters and Alex Q. Huffman return from a pitch perfect live rendition of the “bootleg breakfast” and kick off podcast 2 with great anticipation for their chat with Touch Guitar Master, Trey Gunn.
Trey, Eddie and Alex go on a conversational journey about Trey’s latest group, The Security Project, featuring the earlier solo works of Peter Gabriel. Eddie and Alex learn about the all-star line up of musicians in the band including Jerry Marotta who was Peter Gabriel’s drummer following his departure from Genesis.
The boys also learn more about the unique 10-stringed instrument known as a Touch Guitar, which Gunn has devoted nearly 30 years of his career to and continues to forge uncharted territory with The Security Project and their impeccable live album “Live 1”.
Look out for chats on Technique, Guitar Center and recollections on Robert Fripp are all included in this action packed conversation with musical pioneer: Trey Gunn
After the turn around, the boys reach out to the exact musical opposite of Trey Gunn…Mister Pietro DiGennaro.
Pietro tells Eddie and Alex about surviving his weekend birthday celebration which was nearly exploited by a VICE reporter. Find out who gets a gift wrapped box filled with exploitation for his birthday.
Later, Pietro talks about his addiction to starring in other band’s videos and a surprise visit by George Orwell.
