I am Eddie
Winters and I want to be your next State Representative
in the 10th district. After growing up, working as a police
officer and starting my family in this community, it is
clear that it’s time for a significant change. I want
to be the agent of that change, the force that protects
and preserves our neighborhoods, improves our quality of
life and brings our very diverse community together.
From the North
End of our district to the West End, I see how our current
representation has ignored our needs and stifled many of
our hopes. Despite our differences we need many of the same
things, a strong and fair education for our children, more
after school and early childhood education programs, quality–affordable
health care, lower property taxes, a reliable CTA, and strong
gun control laws that keep dangerous weapons off our streets
and out of the hands of criminals. I invite you to take
a look at my life, my vision and my hopes for our families
and our communities.
